Barron recorded a goal and added seven hits in Sunday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Mammoth.
Barron scored a goal on two shots, added two PIM, doled out two hits and went plus-2 in Saturday's 5-1 win over the Capitals.
Has outstanding size and strength at 6'4", 220 pounds. Is also plenty versatile up front, since he is able to play all three forward positions. A bit of an overachiever as a sixth-round draft pick out of the USHL, he turned himself into an NHL option with three solid seasons of college hockey at Cornell University. Is not a major scoring threat at the highest level, so he must perfect the art of being a role player in the NHL.
